The soft interface foam pad is unique among polishing foam pads since it works as a backing pad for sandpaper. The sandpaper is too thin to attach to a polisher backing plate, and there is no way of providing a cushion between the surface and a polisher. This soft foam interface pad embraces a soft foam layer, helping even pressure distribution while reducing heat and seamless contouring with sandpaper. The center cut with eight(8) vacuum holes helps to reduce the heat and absorb dust during polishing for final sanding prep. The unique features of the soft foam interface pads allow the interface of the final stage of the fine sanding process.
