BEFORE START

Before you begin, it’s important to note that you should never clean a hot engine, as the heat could cause the cleaning products to evaporate too quickly, leaving behind residue. Wait until the engine has cooled down completely before you start.

1st. Step

Protect Sensitive Components

First, cover any sensitive components that could be damaged by water, such as the alternator, distributor, and air intake. You can use plastic bags and tape to cover these parts securely.
